Yeah I always had issues with streamlabs. Switching to studio helped a lot!

@@JimMadden I got it to work finally, by following their blog, similar to what you've said here about the Multi-Device Output but for some reason I can't use my audio interface's headphone output, Apogee Quartet, as the output to monitor what's going on. So I have to use "External Headphones" on my Mac, along with Blackhole, as a Multi-Device Output like you showed, and then I can hear the computer game I'm actually playing, via my Macbook Pro's audio out jack, linked up to headphones. However I also cannot hear my own voice, which goes via a dynamic mic into my audio interface, but it gets recorded fine. Which is pretty strange considering I can hear myself from the same audio interface headphone output when recording my own voice via the same mic and setup when producing music. I'll play around more and see what's what. Or maybe I am hearing it, but because there's no reverb or any effect in the audio interface itself, I might also be hearing my own voice from my ears, as my headphones are just earplugs and maybe I can't hear the audio of my own voice coming through. Anyway! Long story short it works now on my gaming channel. What made it work was after selecting Blackhole inside Stream Labs as the other input (other than my microphone through which I was speaking), I had to change my computer's Audio Output Tab, in System Preferences, to "Multi-Device Output", and only then was I able to hear the computer audio, as well as have it come through inside Streamlabs. Also, in case anyone's reading and it can benefit them, the default volume would blow my ears off, so inside the Output tab in Sounds in Macbook's System Preferences, first click External Headphones as the Output, adjust the volume to where you want it using the slider, and then select Multi-Device Output, as the Output, for the computer, which then will have the audio volume in your ears fixed to where you set it for the External Headphones! When you say switching to "Studio"... what do you mean by Studio? Thanks :)

@@TimberWolf1000 this was a long time ago, so I dont know what has changed, but it acted as a second screen, so I would have OBS from my computer dragged onto the iPad. Not open on the iPad itself like an app

This is actually the most annoying and difficult thing I had to figure out, but you need a chat link cable to do it. I had a mic to my console for in game chat, then a seperate mic for stream, but had to use a chat link cable to actually get in game chat to broadcast the audio to the stream, and separately broadcast my stream mic. It’s a pain, and using a chat link cable lowers the audio volume and quality of your gaming headset, but it’s the only way!

I don’t know actually, possibly! Depending on internet speeds. Sharp and reliable 1080 is perfectly fine to start with though

Hmm strange, I havent used Streamlabs much. Maybe there is an output setting for recording?

@@JimMaddenI've tried many different settings, but no luck. Im having to lean towards Ecamm Live. The image looks sharp compared to Slobs.

@@RenierAraya what camera are you using? again, I dont use SLOBS because I found it much less quality in general so I can only help so much, have you tried OBS Studio?

@@JimMadden yeh I tried madden 23 and it worked perfectly! , I tried COD and it works but my screen is like cut up if that makes since and when I try MLB is goes completely black.

I was thinking maybe it might be the actual monitor But I have 2 Samsung I got from Walmart Now I’m not saying they aren’t gaming monitor but they don’t specifically say gaming monitor It just says Samsung so and so But I was thinking about getting a monitor that actually said gaming monitor on it to see it that would help but then I thought about it , Madden was working just fine so idek bro

@@Ninety5Media it may be that, newer games might need a minimum spec to run smoothly, and once you have a capture card attached and everything it seems to pull some of the resources. Sorry I couldn't help more!

Yeah this one was tough, I THINK you have to set a source for game audio as monitor only and have your headphones in the computer? So essentially I had 2 identical audio sources for game, one was output only to stream, one was monitor only just for me to actually hear the game itself. Play around with that and let me know how it goes, we'll get you there!

Thanks bro I’m taking a break from it all for tonight since I have a stream in an hour (@slavomoney on twitch! 7pm CST😜🤣) (I do have a workaround for now, which is plugging my chatlink into my controller. that will suffice for tonights stream as fridays are horror games so spotify isn’t necessary) I’ll be sure to check back with you once I continue troubleshooting as your build is on par with what I use/have. Hey no problem! So, I could be wrong but I don’t think you could stream from an iPad. Not only do I not think it’d be supported, but you need ports and adapters to really take advantage of streaming. Again, I could be wrong because people said I couldn’t stream using a Mac and I figured it out, but I’d suggest a computer so you have the power behind you. Good luck!

I have the X100f as well. If they stick to the 4 year update cycle we might be a year or less from whatever the next version is so I’m just going to wait and see what that is and get a preorder in if it seems decent.

Hey! So I think it’d be straight forward, you’d just add more sources and arrange windows? I can’t imagine it’s any different than how I have mine set up! You may need some sort of hub for more ports though

Oh no! All I can suggest is to make sure everything’s updated, remove scenes and overlays you’re not using. Might need to remake some or reinstall in general?

Not a pain at all! I can get 1080 no problem streaming, it’ll depend on internet though as well but I can sit at 6000 bitrate and stream at 1080p, at 60 frames consistently. And yes! Base model meaning the cheapest option, 8GB ram and 256GB storage.

I don’t think the Sony would connect to the iPad as a camera, I don’t actually think you can use any external camera with an iPad? I could be wrong though! You can always use the built in though!

No hub! Just used the m1 itself, I think one of my usb 3s was into an adapter for type c though because I didn’t have enough.

40,000?! If you’re on twitch there’s no reason to be above 6000, it won’t make much of a difference and anything higher might make people not be able to watch your stream.

@@barcauniversum I never had an issue with quality just using the software and a usb cable! Never used a cam link once so I can’t compare, but I couldn’t have asked for better quality for my face cam really.
